How do you keep a mantilla veil in place?
Hi I was looking at the mantilla veil or another cathedral length veil as my option since I don’t want to wear a train since we are considering a picnic style reception, but still want the train effect at least for the ceremony.
But I haven’t been able to see how exactly is the mantilla kept in place on a person’s head. Is it with a comb cause I am not seeing that at all.Know it isn’t with a tiara (at least not from the pictures I have seen).
So if you know how it is applied to your head and if it works better with a particular type of hairstyle I would much appreciate your answers.

You can use hair pins or carefully sew it to a comb once you have determined the correct placement for the comb. Use thread that matches the mantilla so it is barely noticeable. It definitely will not stay in place by itself. Take it with you when you do your hair experiments with your stylist.
