How much would it cost to cut my own stones for an engagement ring?
My fiance has a Swarovski crystal figurine that she loved that got broken in a move. I would like to cut it down and make the stones for her engagement ring. I was wondering how much it might cost to get about 3 1/4 carat stones.
It wouldn’t be worth it for Swarovski. You’d do better to buy a ring. Labor is very expensive. Unless this is sentimental, I wouldn’t bother. Call around, prices very greatly…If you do it, make sure you call at least 5-10 shops.
