My girlfriend is getting a Garter for Prom?
So my gf and I were going over prom stuff, and she says she has to get a garter. Is there some prom tradition behind this? I hear from some ppl that the guy is supposed to take it off with his teeth- but that seems kinda skanky. Does someone want to explain exactly what I’m expected to do so I don’t look really stupid?
She doesn’t expect you to take it off with your teeth. It’s a tradition for prom for the girls to get garters. It’s nothing to do with their date; we girls usually just take pictures with our dresses up to show the garters! It’s just something fun to do for prom. Don’t stress about it, I’m sure she doesn’t expect you to do anything with the garter. Have fun at prom XD
