Why do they keep making dresses out of that cheap poly rayon crap fabric?

I know that it is cheap and they don’t have to do as much fitting, it washes easily etc…but it is awful material, doesn’t breath well and looks bad on people (clings horribly) Even expensive lines and shops have mostly poly rayon with lycra now.
I just want to be able to get something decent that I don’t have to toss out shortly afterwards.

Why do they use this fabric, for the exact reasons you wrote. Washes easily and can sell to a greater number of people at a low price.
