We know that diamond is forever. In metals it is said that platinum is forever. It is equivalent of diamonds. It is not only the hardest metal of all the available metals but it is also the rarest metal and most durable metal. It is precious because of its most extraordinary features. Just like diamonds, platinum is a very rare material. If all the platinum ever mined were compiled, it would only produce a cube 17 feet on each side – less than 5,000 cubic feet. In addition, it takes up to 10 tons of ore to produce one ounce of platinum, which is more than twice as much ore that is typically needed for one ounce of gold.
