2010 Trends For Wedding Dresses

The wedding dresses in 2010 tend to be much simpler. Simpleness, elegance and high quality will be three main characteristics.

In terms of decoration, traditional embroidery, pearls, sequins, crystals, lace, band, bow, rushing, ruffles, the floral, feathers are all the same as before. However, all these decorations will be limited into a small scope, such as bust, waist, hemline and shoulders. Furthermore, there will be only one or two elements for decoration, and not as sophisticated as before.

As to the veils, floral head-wear and hair band become popular instead of the long veils. This definitely add more charms to the brides.

Besides above changes, there are six other details. They are so overwhelming that I would like to share with your lovely ladies one by one.

Firstly, it is the ruffle. A solid ruffled collar pops out your face. No detailed embroidery or crystals but more mature and firm.

secondly, it is the feather. the soft and warming feathers along the train are like a peacock displaying its beautiful tail. Moreover, the feather swings as the bride walks around. What a lovely scene.

Thirdly, it is the floral motif. these floral motifs are solid and three-dimension. They are spread over the gown in a decent shape, which is like many flowers are falling down on the brides and giving their best wishes.

Fourthly, a slim line of crystals over the bust or shoulders in a elegant shape can win over all the sophisticated jewellery.

Fifthly, one-shoulder Grecian goddess gown will continue to shine in 2010 in its easy, quiet way.

Sixthly, asymmetry is the most popular. Vera Wing 2010 collection is mainly asymmetry. Different fabric mix together. Many layers of draping with bows, ruffle or tie are decorated here and there.
