The ninth Miss Wayne County annual competition attracted nine candidates in the election of Miss and eleven candidates in the categories of Miss Teen and taken to a packed house at Auditorium High School Wayne County. Lacey Odum and Nicole Sharer were crowned Miss Teen 2008 Miss Wayne and Wayne County respectively Saturday January 19, 2008. "It is a dream come true for me, and I am thrilled to have the title of Miss Wayne County, a "Odum said." I can not wait to start using the title to promote my platform, two houses, one heart: Helping children cope with divorce at a broader level. "Lacey now represent Wayne County in the Miss Georgia in Columbus, Georgia in June
"This is exceptional Miss Georgia Teen my first draft, so he was surprised to win the title," Sharer said. "I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to represent my community this summer in Georgia, Miss Teen Columbus, Georgia exceptional this summer.
In the Miss division, Odum was the winner of the evening wear and swimwear. Other winners were Melanie Hollingsworth, first runner, Liana Mette, second Talent finalist and winner of the third finalist Tarna Toothman Price of Christian unity and the winner of the Spirit, Rachel Ogden, the fourth finalist.
In the division Teen Sharer, was also the winner of sportswear. Other winners included Hilary Pulos, first runner and the winner will use the talent and evening, Mary Katelyn Williams, second vice-champion, Alayna Daniell, Third Vice-Mary Porter, fourth runner-up Christian Unity and the winning spirit and Taylor Blanton, most photogenic.
"We had a wonderful group of participants this year," said competition director Leslie Horton. "The judges certainly had to work hard for them, and were very impressed with the level of community support that we are very fortunate to have. "I'm sure these women do a fabulous job in state competitions. "
Many participants attended performances Kreations Kenerly dressing room before a full house on Saturday night. Miss Teen exceptional Wayne County Nicole Sharer was a tap Kreations Kenerly original costumes and outstanding young talent winner Hilary Pulos had a costume for your fitness routine Kenerly Kreations jazz talent win the jackpot. Sali Barber and undisputed star Danielle Clary Kreations out in their costumes, and gave Kenerly goodbye to the home crowd. Both Clary and Barber attended the level state in their tailored suits Kenerly Kreations.
Teen Ashley Voyles leading fitness participant wore a velvet original Kreations Kenerly fitness wear with secondary points as she has modeled for the judges, while discussed in the gym.
