Where can I find a red wedding dress?
Getting marry and haveing trouble finding a Red Wedding dress. Groom family is Pakistani and we agree that we want to mess up our cultures. I live in NYC and am looking for something off the shoulder for modesty reason. Any good leads. Looking the stay under 2,000.00 if I can.

Jen, Im actually Pakistani, but my fiance is American. I can help you locate some american red wedding dresses, under that price range. Let me tell you first off, you can do a white sari, with a red embordeiry, get them to tie the sari like its an american dress. This is very tasteful, and this is a new trend at pakistani fashion runway, it is a gorgeous way to condense both cultures. I was going to do this (white sari with a red designs over it), but my fiance wanted two seperate weddings (so i have a red pakistani saree, and a white american dress).

There are actually some designers such as Maggie Sottero even dye your dress red in case you can locate any red dresses. Make sure if you do decide on a red wedding dress that you ask for extra fabric to make your veil, because I have never seen a red veil before, and you WILL need to cover your head during the ceremony. When I ordered my white american dress, I asked them to make me a bolero with capsleeves to cover my back and my shoulders, this bolero only costed me $75 only,so make sure you ask for alot of extra material. Also, dont try on red bridesmaid dresses, you dont want to blend in their other girls at your wedding. Besides, most bridemaids dresses are simple because companies know that you dont want to outshine the bride.
