The best way to look attractively unique is to wear apparel designed with iron on transfers. If you don’t want to sport clothes that you might share with hundreds of others, take note of these five tips to come up with the best designs.
Print Preview
Most people know that it’s pretty helpful to preview designs or text that you want to print. The truth though is that, lots of people have skipped this step out of laziness and ended up ruining great designs and costly transfer paper. You have to preview your shirt design because this is the best way to check if part of it is outside the printable zone or if the figure is actually smaller or bigger than you imagine. Also, you might want to make a test print on plain paper first to see if the Shirt Iron on transfers carry the colors that you imagine they should.
Get Correct Paper and Printer
Most transfer designs are printed using inkjet devices. Don’t assume though that all modern printers are inkjet. Make sure you double check and match your printer with your printing paper. Don’t try to use inkjet paper on laser printers so you don’t end up wasting prints. In addition, check that you feed the right kind of paper into the printer. Ask your printer manufacturer or seller if they have a brand specific transfer paper.

Paper prints are only half of the story. If you want a truly seamless look, iron a sample print onto a sample shirt or piece of fabric. Naturally, you need to make sure that your sample cloth is the same type as the shirt cloth you intend to use for your iron on fabric transfers. With a sample transfer, you’ll see if the color, position and text are as you want them to be. In some cases, people forget to flip images or expect white to come out on colored shirts.

You may not like dealing with printers or you may not even have one to begin with. If this is the case, you can always settle for instant transfers. Because these are popular fashion items, you can find a great number of designs. You might even want to be a bit more different and get hot fix crystals rather than color prints.
