someone stole my cell phone at school yesterday…and i can’t get over it…please read my story?
it was a black, helio, slide phone. my mom had told me not to lose it cause it came with a special plan or something. i already told my mom some1 stole it and she canceled the plan. but i can’t get over it. i was talking to my friend in the crowded halls and i had my backpack slung over one shoulder. i felt a tug on my bookbag and i looked back. i just saw this guy touching a pocket of my bookbag. i just looked ahead and continued talking. i checked my backpack and the pocket was open. the cell phone was missing. i started breaking down cause i was so stupid and something beside this had happened that day that got me in a very bad mood. i was so stupid to not say anything when i knew he was sorta going through my bag. i feel so bad for myself. why are people like that? now i don’t have a phone. i did bad on my sci. quiz cause of all this. and i broke down in front of almost every1 i know. i realized that some of my friends don’t even care about me. i hate my life. i’m 14 years old
You will feel so upset over this, because someone didn’t just steal your phone, they went through your bag and violated your privacy!
When someone does something so cold and nasty it really does hurt a lot!
You will also be feeling guilty that you didn’t take better care of it, but you shouldn’t feel like that, because you hadn’t carelessly left it lying around!
Have you told the school about your phone being stolen? You really should tell them if you haven’t already, and also tell them about your science quiz and how you were too upset to concentrate!
Depending on your school policy, they may let you re-do it!
As for your phone, there’s only a small chance that you’ll get it back, unfortunately, but your mom could look into the plan she had on it, in case they will replace the phone, and possibly for free!
For future reference, should you get a new phone, you could perhaps find a way of carrying it on your person? Maybe you have a pocket, or you could wear a bum bag, or fashionable equivalent?!
Getting upset in front of everyone is nothing to be ashamed of! The only one that needs to be ashamed is the thief him or herself!
Your friends mayble don’t know how to act in this situation. They probably haven’t been through it themselves, so they won’t understand how hurtful it is!
You could try talking to them and explaining how you feel, and then try and get on with things without dwelling on this any more!
This will have hurt you, but you don’t have to let it hurt ou any more!
Don’t give this nasty thief any more power over you!
