I have red hair and im 14 but i have silver strands of hair?

my hair is a darker red right now (its natural) but i noticed that i have some silver hairs, but at the top of the strand its blonde. so what is going on?
help anyone???
im not complaining i mean it looks good, it seems to balance out, but i was just wondering

Probably genetics..

Or it could be the sun. I have red hair & every summer I get a few blonde high lights because I spend so much time outdoors.
