Daivds Bridal says that they will add sleeves to any dress. Do they actually look nice?

Is this a big ordeal or really expensive? What is your experience with regular bridal shops as far as adding sleeves. I want something very modest.

I personally do not like the way that the added sleeves look. They just button them in at David’s Bridal – they don’t actually sew them in. Here is a real bride wearing the sleeves from David’s Bridal. It looks just okay to me…but if it works for you then that’s great too…

I actually was able to find a wedding gown that had sleeves on it already. I think that is the best way to go. Either that or find a professional seamstress to add the sleeves on for you.
There are a few gowns out there that actually have the sleeves. I got mine from Pronovias, but they are rather pricey and I am not sure what your budget is…

Oh yeah – and check out Jasmine Bridal. They have a section called “Temple Ready” It allows you to pick on of their gowns, then they will add whatever sleeve length, neckline, etc. to the dress that you want.
