Is it okay to wear a veil with a wedding dress that has long sleeves if they’re off the shoulder?
My dress gives the affect of a strapless gown because the sleeves are completely off the shoulder. They’re long sheer lace. I thought I would just wear a half updo with curls down the back but it feels like something is missing. I was sure I didn’t want a veil but now I think I do, less than 6 weeks before the wedding. I’m thinking elbow length, single tier with just a pencil edge. If I keep it pushed back behind my shoulders, does that work?
I think you can wear a veil with ANY type of wedding dress. Just take your dress in, put it on, and try on veils until you find one that you love wiht your dress.
I always like it when brides wear veils. And with what you describe, yes, it would completely work.
